Happy Holidays!

The BIA Tree Lighting Celebration was the place to be on Nov 29th in Belle River-On the Lake. Great way to kick off the holidays!

The Optimist Club helped man a refreshment tent with hot chocolate, coffee, and apple cider to keep everyone warm!  Volunteers  also served cookies, tim bits, popcorn and hot dogs...ALL DONATED by the Belle River - On the Lake BIA Businesses! Lakeshore Firefighters and OPP brought SANTA to the park for 6pm!  Just before he arrived the Mayor and councillors helped with a countdown to turn on all the lights in park to kick off the holiday season!

Firefighters and Belle River High School students  supervised a marshmellow roast and s'more making in the new pagoda donated by the Belle River Horticultural Society.

We collected more than $200 in cash donations for the Lakeshore Foodbank and two pick ups trucks filled with canned goods for the local Goodfellow holiday baskets!
